In addition to the main Database Health Monitor, I also have a set of scripts available for download to help make the life of a DBA easier.
- September 16, 2017 – dbhlogchain, fixed bug with multiple differential backups being included. Added actual paths to the restore script rather than hardcoded path. Added powershell script to cleanup .sql files in the backup directory older than 2 days.
- June 17, 2015 – Fixed bugs related to Veeam backups throwing off the restore sequence. Fixed a problem with the ordering of the restore script. Added comments to prevent accidentally running the restore script, you need to un-comment something for it to work.
- June 16, 2015 – Add an option to dbhLogChain to save the output to a file in the same directory as the last backup.
- May 2015 – Created Version 1 with the dbhLogChain stored procedure to run after a backup is run to create a restore script to get up to the current point in time.
