What is the BROKER_EVENTHANDLER Wait event?

The BROKER_EVENTHANDLER wait doesn’t cause problems.

This indicates the number of times the event handler has waited because there was nothing for the Service Broker to do.  This number will continue to increase over time until your database has been restarted.
