Database Health Monitor Licensing Changes
There have been a number of questions in regard to our recent licensing changes in Version 3 of Database Health Monitor.
Hopefully this letter helps explain the changes.
NOTE: After receiving customer feedback this week for a single license price point for Database Health Montor, we have added that to the pricing matrix. You can now purchase a Database Health Monitor License for a single server for the following prices.

Database Health Monitor has evolved over the years. Initially, it was free for everyone, which was great during the Beta years while we added features and functionality. Then we went to the points model where you could get a free connection for being subscribed by my mailing list, and a few other tasks. It turned out that this model was great for a while, but not sustainable in the long run.
The product has grown over the last 14 years, and we now have full-time team members that are dedicated to the development and support of Database Health Monitor. That adds expense and therefore has made the free and the points model not sustainable.
Although we have had to get rid of the free options for Database Health Monitor, we do still offer one of the most inexpensive monitoring and maintenance solutions available for SQL Server.
